It may be my “job” to sing for a living, but it always feels like I’m just having fun. I really enjoy being onstage, singing, and interacting with the fans. When the crowd is especially lively, it keeps us all on our toes and we do our best to give back the same energy. I don’t know if we quite had the same energy as the fans at the Lake Charles, LA show this past weekend – but we did our best! There were 5,000 music fans there and it was a huge day of music with plenty of great Cajun’ style as well as country. We just appreciated that so many folks came out to hear LIVE music.
Country Cajun legend, Jo-El Sonnier held court on Friday night’s stage and then he even came out to hear my show on Saturday night. Jo-El and I go WAY back so it was a pleasure to visit with him again. We hope to see all our fans in Louisiana again soon!
