It was the last weekend of October and out on the road, we never know quite what to expect, especially on a pre-Halloween weekend. Unlike some in the past, when working with our dear friend, Rhonda Vincent, we had no pigs brought out on stage and she wasn’t around to dress up as a Gene Watson fan. The only disruption was the torrential rain on Friday that caused us to have to move our show in Hockley, TX to Friday, November 4th. We certainly hope all of you that had planned to come this past Friday will come to the 2920 Roadhouse on November 4th.
What we DID have was a lot of fun Thursday in Tyler, TX at the Liberty Hall and on Saturday at the Coyote Country Store in Gail, TX. It’s always a good time when we get to work with David Frizzell and The Bellamy Brothers. That was a great show and the fans got to hear some really good country music.
