We made our way to Nashville this past week so that our tour bus could get a Spring tune up and we performed on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry Friday night, April 19th. Anytime we’re at the Opry, it’s a great treat. You never know who might be there.
As it happened, the incredibly talented Vince Gill just showed up. Not to perform, just to be there and enjoy all the great music. It does keep a person on their toes when you know a legend like Vince is watching you!
I was also happy to get a moment to talk with one of my all-time favorite singers, Ms. Connie Smith. She is so talented but just as down to earth as anyone you’ll ever meet.
The next day we headed over to Manchester, TN for a performance at the Conference Center. That was a sold out crowd which made us happy and on Sunday, it was another great audience at Tuck’s Bar & Grill in Minor Hill, TN. If you’re in that area be sure to stop by for the great food and good music. They’ll treat you like family!
