Dan Rogers GW Manuel scarf gift
We had a long run of wonderful shows these past two weeks and it was fitting that we ended this trip Saturday night at the Grand Ole Opry. During my show, Dan Rogers, Sr. VP/Executive Producer of the Opry, surprised me with a special Opry 100 commemorative scarf designed by Manuel. Fashion designer, Manuel, has made stage clothes worn by Jimmy Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Hank Williams, Emmy Lou Harris, Marty Stuart, Waylon and so many more. It’s hard to see the scarf in this photo but the Opry backdrop design shows a good example of Manuel’s creative style.
