With a few days off this past weekend, I was scrolling through some old photos that I thought I’d share with you. When I look at the old pictures, it just seems like the days have flown by since this photo or that one was taken. In this first photo, I was reminded of some of my old band members and recalled many good times with them. I’ve been extraordinarily lucky to have had great band members over the years and in this photo, these were some great musicians and good friends. I’m very lucky right now to have one of my greatest groups of musicians backing me up. If you’ve seen the current band, you know they are smokin’ hot onstage!
The other fellow in the last photo, I’m sure you recognize – the late, great George Jones. He was so good to me and we toured a few times. This photo as noted was taken in Northern Ireland and I’m guessing the year was 2008 but not 100% sure on that. I’ll bet my Irish fans can confirm or correct me on that date.
