According to the internet, Labor Day is the day to honor and remember working people who’ve fought for workers’ rights. For some of us, it means the general end of summer and this year, especially, I hope it means the cooler air is coming soon. Over the years we’ve played some sizzling hot outdoor shows (and a few indoor shows with barely working air conditioning) and let me tell you, onstage it’s even hotter than out in the audience. So we celebrate Labor Day for all its meanings.
I was looking back at some old photos and ran across these that I thought you’d enjoy. A lot of you have been there for me throughout my career so no doubt you’ve seen me in all these different looks- and I appreciate you for hanging with me all these years!
