We had a good, long weekend of shows starting with the Opry for a Thursday, Classic Opry show and ending in Minor Hill, TN at Tuck’s Bar & Grill. We’ll wind up our November tour dates November 23 in Branson, MO at The Mansion. Then it will be a well deserved Thanksgiving break for my hard-working band (and me)! I do enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday because it seems a bit more low stress and you still have fun with family and friends. As I may have said before, turkey and dressing is one of my favorites!
Here are some photos from our night at the Opry.
We all admire the talent of the great, Wade Hayes. What a tremendous singer he is! Don’t miss his show if he’s near you.
Of course, I always like to visit with Rhonda Vincent, shown in this photo with our mutual good friend, Tim Dillman. Tim has sold me many great tour buses over the years.
Then a friend but also the co-owner of the Emmons Guitar Company- home of the ReSound’65™ , Kelcey O’Neil, came to tweak our pedal steel guitar. Kelcey was a former machinist and a music lover so he learned how to build a steel guitar from scratch and has done a tremendous job with the company, along with co-owner, Darin Shiflett. Shown in this photo is me, Robbie Primm and Kelcey O’Neil.
