I ran across some random photos from several years back but thought you might like to see them. This photo below of Little Jimmy Dickens was taken in one of the Ryman Auditorium dressing rooms. Little Jimmy was one of the great entertainers. You didn’t want to follow him onstage – but more importantly, he was a super nice man and would always take a moment to visit and give advice if you had a question for him. We sure do miss him.
I can’t recall the exact year but this was from a Canadian tour I did with George Jones. George would always call me back onstage to sing the final song which was usually the Gospel tune, “Me and Jesus,” a song written by Tom T. Hall.
This photo was taken in 2009 when Rhonda Vincent and I were shooting a video for “Staying Together ” – a song from from Taste of the Truth album.
It’s always nice to see Brenda Lee- one of the nicest people in the business and one of the hardest working too. We were both at the 2012 Country Music Hall of Fame ceremony that year.
