Country music legend Gene Watson has rescheduled several tour dates due to a band member testing positive for COVID-19. Watson and his band members will be on self-imposed quarantine for the next 14 days. Watson’s rescheduled tour dates as well as the full list of tour dates are below. As a result, Watson will no longer be performing at the World Championship Rodeo Bullfight Finals and Concert at the Hardy Murphy Coliseum September 18 in Ardmore, Okla.
“I wanted to let you know that I’m fine but we did have a band member test positive for Covid even though he was fully vaccinated – so being cautious and under Covid protocol guidelines, we have rescheduled our upcoming weekend shows and canceled for the following week,” said Watson.
Additionally, Watson will be in the studio working on his new project with a tentative release scheduled for early 2022.
