Me and the band are doing our best to survive this heat wave that’s swept across the country—it’s been a scorcher! We’re thinking of all of you dealing with the extreme temps and especially those affected by the terrible flooding. Please stay safe out there.
I’m really looking forward to visiting with the WSM-AM Radio morning crew this Friday (Aug 1), then heading over to the Grand Ole Opry that night. I’ll be singing one of the Opry’s fan-voted Top 100 songs, a real classic by my hero, Ray Price, “For The Good Times.” It’s always an honor to step into that circle and sing one that means so much to me.
