Don’t you love a good fair? I know we do. This past Saturday we all had a good time at the Comal County Fair in New Braunfels, TX. The band really gets out and checks it all out. You can find them in the Midway looking for the corn dogs, Turkey Legs and more. Our band leader and guitar player, Chad Phillips, said he ate an entire funnel cake. Now at the State Fair of Texas in Dallas, they might be serving up Fried Butter, Chicken Fried Bacon or what they call the Fat Elvis– that’s a biscuit with peanut butter and strawberry jelly topped with toasted marshmallow fluff, bacon and fried plantains. Enough said on that. For us, we provided the real country music for the night and we had a great crowd, some were dancing – probably working off that Midway food.
