Friday, December 8th I had a great time shooting a video with the legendary @Bellamy Brothers. David and Howard had asked me to record their song “Forever Ain’t Long Enough” which I did a few months back and we just got the video shot on Friday. The video location was Rory Feek’s great place, Homestead Hall in Columbia, TN. Rory has made the place even more spectacular since I was there when we filmed The Gene and Moe Show at that location. A shout-out to Marcy Jo for the delicious breakfast and lunch!
David Bellamy expects the song and the video to be available sometime in mid to late January and promises to let us know exact details when he has it so I can let you know. I guarantee you’ll like it – it’s REAL country music and with those incredible harmonies from David and Howard, it’s something special. If you look closely at one of the background singers, the pretty redhead, you may recognize Lisa Layne who is married to our steel player, Boo Miller. Lisa and I were both on the Grand Ole Opry on Friday night so we had a very full day with a lot of good country music.
