I have everything he ever recorded. There is no other like him. His album with Rhonda Vincent is magical. He sounds as good or better now than he did 50 yrs ago. I first saw Gene Watson back in the 70's and  I knew there was really something SPECIAL about this singer. Saw him many times over the next 15 years then didn't see him again until a couple of months ago. His voice is like fine wine! Is better as he has gotten older. I too am going to see him in NC in May as I will be turning 70!!  But I feel like a young 70!!  That will be the best b-day gift ever. One of my sisters, a niece and great niece are treating me. Hubby will stay home this time! He is a true country singer. Thank God for him and that he is still singing.  I AGREE—–THE BEST EVER!
