Cool in Canada

Hi Friends -

We’re up in Colborne, Ontario for the big Jamboree here and the band and I have been treated to a great cookout provided by our hosts, Gary Warner and Linda Grills.  You can hopefully see by the photos that we aren’t going hungry. Did you see the size of those chops?   Super nice fans in Canada although we did have one little lady who just insisted we sing a song recorded by Vern Gosdin. We tried and tried to tell her that the band didn’t know that one because it was Vern’s hit.  She just wouldn’t believe us :)   I guess we’ll have to learn it for our next trip – we all loved Vern’s music too.I hope all of you are holding up .  We’re still having some photo gallery issues but we’ll get all this new fangled stuff figured out soon.   Take care, Gene

    Keep coming south, look forward year to year. Just saw you put on 2 shows at the
    Georgia Mountain Fair, in Hiawassee. Already have tickets to go see you in Franklin,NC
    in late Oct. Nothin like that voice, it just keeps gettin better with age. Thought your new
    look was fantastic. Thanks for all the good times.

    Gene, Just wanted to tell you we so enjoyed seeing and hearing you in Franklin, KY. It was a dream come true to meet you and chat with you for a few minutes. I see that you might be coming to Las Vegas soon so I am hoping to catch your show there also. You were the highlight of our trip!
